What an answer looks like

This is a real answer from our sample HOA documents, not from yours. Every answer we give works the same way: a plain-English answer, then the exact passages from the documents, quoted word for word, with the section and page so you can check them yourself.

You asked

How tall can my fence be?

Fences cannot be taller than six (6) feet, measured from finished grade. They must also stay in the rear yard and not extend forward of the rear corners of the house. Gates must match the fence height. You need the ARC's written approval before building, so submit an application to the management company first.
